Overview:
Smart Fab, in Conjunction with Leed Engineering are helping to construct a 3.5km pipeline from Kangaroo Creek to Hope Valley replacing the existing aqueduct.

At 1.8meters in diameter, the pipeline travels 3.5km and crosses the river a total of 6 times. The existing aquaduct is being replaced due to the fact it is now over 135 years old and subject to leeks & evaporation. This new pipeline will provide water to over 85,000 near by homes. This new pipeline will provide a gravity flow of raw water from the Torrens Gorge Weir to the Hope Valley Reservoir. This is part of a $23Million dollar upgrade from SA Water.

Smart Fabrication proivided 8 employees including 4 Qualified Tradesman working 6 days a week cutting, joining and welding the pipe. We also had an engineer working from our office drawing all the technical drawings required for the job.

Smart Fabrication have a temporary workshop set up on site including 2 brand new Lincoln diesel Welder/Generators, new plasma cutters, safety equipment, tools & etc.
